The 2025 AMVCAs celebrated a decade of African storytelling, honoring top talent in film, TV, and digital media. Held in Lagos, the night featured standout wins, emotional speeches, and a clear message: African cinema is rising—and here to stay.
The 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) unfolded on May 10, 2025, at the Exhibition Center, Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. This edition marked over a decade of honoring excellence in African film, television, and digital content. Sponsored by Amstel Malta and presented by MultiChoice, the event was hosted by the charismatic IK Osakioduwa and broadcast live on DStv and GOtv.
